Teeg and trigger thumb

Well we're headed up to Primary's to go meet with the orthopedic surgeon. I noticed in the first of February as I was trying to show him how many fingers were what as we counted. I got to his thumb and I couldn't get it to stand straight. So I moved his well child visit up earlier and met with the dr. I googled the crap out of what might be wrong. I found the words trigger thumb. The thing with trigger thumb is that it locks for periods of time and unlocks and is able to bend. Well that wasn't the case for teeg. His was stuck even after warm baths. I started going back through pictures on my laptop and I found one from last march. I am shocked I didn't notice this sooner. The last week or two he has come up to me and told me it hurts. We have since had an xray done and that was so traumatizing for him! He just cried and cried:( I wasn't able to be in there since I'm pregnant. His results came back and the dr can see calcification on this tendon. So we were referred to go see the orthopedic surgeon and Primary's. We will find out what is our next move and on progress to fix it. I have watched a couple of videos on the actual surgery and it's very non invasive and simple but he will need to be put asleep and that scares me as a mother. 

Pregnancy Update

I went to the Drs this last week. I will update my stats of being pregnant on it's own post but no pics! 

Weight: I've gained a total of 12 pounds in 27 weeks. My belly is measuring a week ahead but we didn't measure baby sister during the ultra sound. The Dr said that everything looks good and fluidevs are great. I've got 10-13 weeks left. Lookin th forward to this last trimester! She still has no name and everyone keeps asking me but I really don't know what I want to name her:/ I have a list and that's all it still is. Until next appt in 2 weeks! I can't believe we've hit the 2 week appointment marks! 

26 weeks

How Far Along:  26 weeks

Weight Gain/Loss:  since last check up 5 pounds.

Sleep:  Better than the insomnia filled nights.

Best Moment This Week: This week has been rough, I would have to go since our last check up. I am for sure looking more pregnant and not just fat so I enjoy that. I love feeling her move even if it is at strange hours of the day and night. I am having a few other issues the Dr will need to address. 

Movement:   Lots of movement.  It is starting to get a little painful but glad to know she is having a good time in there.

Food Cravings/Aversions: sweets! But I am trying to be really good at limiting them! 

Pregnancy Symptoms: 

What I Miss: Not losing my breath just walking up the stairs, Normal fitting clothes. 

Stretch Marks:  No new ones.

Belly Button: Still in.

Wedding Rings:  Regular fit now.

Mood: Good for the most part. A little emotional at times.

Labor Signs:  None.

Milestones: Last week of my second trimester. Hello third next week!

Upcoming Appointments/Events:  A check up and glucose test on the 25 of March. 

What I look forward to: Baby Shower, picking a name?, to pass my glucose test. The nesting phase/energy in this next trimester. 

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy really is starting to go! I had Teeg 3 weeks early and if this sweet babe decides to come early then that means I have 11-14 weeks left! Holy cow! It seems so far but so close and coming so fast! Smells still bother me with this pregnancy at times.

Snow Fun

This was our first time playing in the snow. He was very unsure about it at first. I think this next winter he will love it and will never want to come in! Everything that is white like snow is called a snowman its so cute!
