June

In June Jaimie and I were able to go out and visit my nanny family. It was a lot of fun. The plane flight was a red eye, we got to NY early and went to rent a car...well that fell through. So then we decided to just take the subway system and get to grand central and then get a taxi ride home. The taxi cab that was first to take us refused....the second one took us finally. It was very eventful carrying HEAVY suitcases up several flights of stairs. We got home to our house and it is absolutely stunning. We went up stairs and just shared a room the whole time we were there. We had the house to ourselves when we go there so we laid down and took a nap. Later we went swimming and had a BLAST!!! We did a lot of swimming there, I wish that I had a pool. My sweet friend Senia was working her last week in Greenwich and her nanny family had a car for her to drive the kids around in so she let us use her car. I am grateful and will be forever grateful!!! We went and DD and several other places that aren't here in Utah and it was a lot of fun. Our week was very eventful! One night Anne got us tickets to go and see a Broadway show called Anything Goes. It was pretty funny, it had some adult humor in it. I also was not surprised that Axel was taller than I and that Isabel has turned into a beautiful young girl. She loves clothes and Make up and nail polish. Axel could do some awesome hula hooping tricks, one consisted hula hooping while going down the zip line. PRETTY SWEET! It was such a fun trip and I am glad that they let me come visit for awhile. I hope to go back again soon! 2 Years was WAYYYY too long!

My New Hair!

This last week my Sister died my hair for me and it was the 1st time in my whole life! I feel so grown up:)

Easter

Happy Easter! I am sorry this post is late! Avery and I had a ton of fun dying easter eggs! We had several colors this year! We didn't get to go out and roll them though because the weather was rainy all day. We are truly grateful for the real purpose of Easter and the gift from Christ.

Happy (early) Birthday Avery!!!

Here is Avery's birthday present. I bought it early for him because I wanted some steak on the bbq but we have yet to get a tank LOL. I think this easter weekend we will be getting one and YUMMY steak next week. I hope that he enjoys it! LOVE ya babe!

Days

I am wondering if I am the only one that has days like today....work at the school has been lovely(NOT) I just can't seem to get the things at my house done. I hate showing my house off to people because there are areas that are not just clutter. They are PURE mess! I have no kids, but I just can't seem to keep up with all the work of the house. I didn't have a problem before but now, I just can't see, to contain it all. I have days where I NEED to go home and I know I NEED to get something done but I do not have the energy/desire to do it. I need to get with the program I am just having a hard time staying motivated....some day I guess. Just like someday I will have kids, my own home and good job and a happy life....someday

Five years have passed since we saw you last. You were an amazing man and we love you so much! You were a special spirit in the family. There are days I miss hearing your deep hearty laugh. But thank heavens, your daughter inherited that and can share it with us. I miss your delicious cooking. I know that we will all be able to see you again, as long as we live the right way. Thanks for your amazing example. I LOVE YOU!

First Hot Dog Roast

This is our first hot dog roast for the season, I am looking forward to several more! :) We had a lot of fun taking the suburban out for a drive as well:)

I have finished the main parts of our house! I do not have the spare room or office done! I am working on them slowly. They will come eventually. I hope that you all enjoy:)

I know I am SLACKING big time! I have been so super busy with trying to get the house completely finished and etc. I am ALMOST done! YAY! I have some homework that I've GOT to finish THIS week!!! Just Saturday I did a load of laundry with 2 towels and a blanket....turns out the blanket and washer did not get along. I now have blanket fibers by the millions in my washer and I cannot use my washer...BLEH! It is brand new and stupid what can I do?

Avery and I are doing great loving our space and I am back to my OCD and cleaning ALL the time! I love to clean it is therapeutic but I do not like to always do it all by myself! Avery and I moved as you all know and we switched wards, we are happy and sad.

Grateful

I am feeling so blessed right now. I know that the lord is answering some of my prayers and I cold not be happier! We have had our ears open to anything that could be the thing we need and finally we have found it! Avery and I are moving out of my parents basement and into a house in town. We are not building just yet but we are still planning on it. The house that we are moving into has GREAT storage and a huge yard! I will have to post pictures when we actually move in and get everything set up. I think next week will be the BIG move week. I am so excited to have my own place again! I am so grateful to my parents for putting up with us for 10 months!

Sledding

We went sledding this last week on Monday because Jordan wanted to go! So we went the Elementary school because the other places were too far or not enough snow. We had some fun then went home and ate some yummy soup!

Jr Jazz

This last year I coached Jordan's Jr. Jazz team, it was a little stressful at times and others it was quite enjoyable. Other than one coach teaching his girls to be poor sports, scratching and elbowing, and holding on to the ball everytime they could grab it, the games were not to bad.... I got yelled at a couple of times from parent's that were not any of my girls parents, but I am over it! I Loved my girls! :)

I am also wondering why my family is SLACKING on posting anything???
